Grade Info | Big owl, lots of detail all around the object, different textures front, back and sides |
---|
Shape Info | Large vertical rectangle |
---|
Color Info | Mostly light sitting on a darker medium wood colored base. Approx 25% pyrography covered |
---|
Other Imperfections | Underneath the tail feathers (brake area) the finish is imperfect, slight 'overwax' around the eye in the sockets |
---|
Material | Plinth is distinct from the main composite body and has rubber feet. Screws to base and feet. |
---|
Notes | Nice object fairly tall - ideal as a talking point up on a shelf out of the way. Quite stable but can be easily unbalnaced due to the high centre of gravity. |
---|
Condition | Good, some odd dimples here and there from the original denailing visible (two one side and one on the other) but they almost blend in perfectly. |
---|
Best Angle | Good 360 degrees really - pyrography on the blaze and rear winged portion. I would be tempted to affix it up high looking down at 35 degrees in a hallway, perhaps concealling a cctv camera beween it's feet - an easy modification DIY'er could apply with a suitable Forstner dril lbit). |
---|
Worst Angle | Up close the snout is not perfect, and betweek the feet the cavity lacks finesse |
