As of 11 May 2019 this website is a work in progress and presently no items can be directly purchased without first contacting Paul by email. We will have products listed on eBay.co.uk and folksy soon - but exactly when is not yet known. We have a few remaining issues to resolve first.
Most items will be sent in boxes; or tubes - wrapped up with a lot of protective packaging material - which is all clean but may be recycled. Occasionally we will have to send out items inside small ply crates to protect them in transit (these make-shift crates my need to be opened using a PZ2/PH2 phillips type screwdriver).
Some items may be sent with ears/tails/wings or ancillary parts not glued in place to make the P&P easier - where this applies it will be clearly noted in the item description - in these exceptional cases you will need to provide your own glue (we will advise if appropriate).
We normally offer two different postage options; one of which will be a more expensive option - in any case the item will be sent insured with the actual sale value provided to the courier to enable their insurance - hopefully the packaging will prove resillient enough to withstand the courier in either case! Packaging can delay your parcel getting to the courier the next day - so unless your order is an easy to package sculpture - you can expect it to be with the courier within two business days after purchase.
All the photographs on this website were taken with a relatively old camera using autofocus and more importantly the Flash; in a poorly lit room. Therefore the images tend to make the items look a bit lighter and a bit more glossy/shiney than they do in the real world. Computer screens also are all calibrated and maintained differently which means that it is not possible to universally represent the colors de jure.
In terms of Object Imperfections and fidelity of the individual pieces - each is unique and just like everything else - each may have an element of imperfection about it. It depends on how you look at the individual items really, and how fussy you choose to be. More perfect pieces demand a larger price than their more normal peers. But because we will provide high resolution photographs here, you will be able to scrutinise any potential purchase at your leisure.
Having provided buyers with advance means to exhaustively preview any potential purchase in advance (including the 360 degree 3-dimensional viewing capability) unless stated all sales made shall be considered final and non refundable. Any claims against the couriers will have to be dealt with as they arise and in accordance with the remit stipulated by the courier in question. Under no circumstances will any postage or courier costs / fees be returned in any event.
